Home at Last!!

For many years my Aunt Cecilia was the most beautiful women on the earth. I could always remember every summer her and the girls would come to Saguache from Phoenix to visit my grandma.

My cousin Stella and I who we nicked named Grizz would always get along. We hung out together always getting into trouble and always picking on my cousin Monica.
Those were the days and those are the days that I miss very much. Over the years I didn't see my Tia cause I guess that they couldn't come or my tio wouldn't let her.
Then one day my Grandma fell ill and she ended up in the hospital and then the nursing home. They said she had cancer and wasn't going to make it very long. Well, on May 15th, 1990 my grandma went to be with her Jesus. That was the last time that I saw my Tia alive. I did see my cousin Grizz from time to time, but never my Tia.
Well then I got the new that she had a strong and they didn't how bad it was. Well she fought for many years and my cousin Stella who I consider a sister took care of her from day one. She was in the best possible hands.
Many family reunions had happened since then and I never got to go cause I was ether working or I was sick in the hospital.
I finally was able to keep in touch with my cousin Stella and she let me know how my Tia was doing. Little did I know that she was ready to be with her mom drinking coffee and telling stories.
Well on February 18th my tia decided to grab the hand of Jesus so she could be led home! It has been hard for the family but we all know that she is in a better place. There is no more suffering and we are waiting for the day when we can all be together again. I love you Tia CeCe and Grandma Joe!!!!

We Are Finally Home!!!

Well after eight long years in the sweltering heat of Texas, Nikole and I made the trip back to colorful Colorado, where I grew up. On the 20th of June my father , my sister, my brother, and two of their friends made the long trip to Dallas to help us move back home.
After getting all of our stuff packed and jammed into a large Uhual truck and a small trailer, we made the 763 mile trip to Saguache, CO!!!
When I made it into the state of Colorado (Trinidad)the first thing I did was get down on the ground and kissed it. The weather was wonderful and it was so nice to be home.
Well we have been here for almost two months and things have been good. We are both looking forward to our new adventure and life here in Colorado.
We would like to thank everyone who helped us along the way, cause without you we wouldn't be here. First of all we give Praise to our Father in heaven. Second, i would like to thank the brethren of the Dallas 4th Ward for helping back up. To Jane Ogletree and Eldon Rindels for all that you did for us and opening your home to my family. Last, we would like to thank my father Tommy Vigil, my sister, Jessica, my brother James, Noel McLauglin, and Austyn Hammel (Lil Bit) for braving the elements and enduring real HEAT! Thanks to all!!........more to come.....
